MOSCOW, January 18 (RIA Novosti) - LUKoil Overseas, a subsidiary of Russia's largest oil company LUKoil [RTS: LKOH], increased its oil and gas condensate production by 51.2% in 2006 year-on-year to 5.3 million metric tons (106,400 bbl/d), the company said Thursday.
The company, which manages LUKoil's international projects, accounted for 5.6% of the oil giant's total production.
LUKoil Overseas' natural gas production in 2006 was 1.75 billion cu m (11% of LUKoil's output), up 5.2% year-on-year.
In 2006, LUKoil Overseas boosted its activities in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Latin America, and Africa.
