MOSCOW, January19 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport suspended operations temporarily after an executive jet with four passengers and two crewmembers on board overshot the runway upon landing, an airport spokesman said Friday.
"The Yak-40 Jet Air, on a flight from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow, has already been towed from the scene," she said, adding that no one was hurt.
A commission, comprised of Transport Ministry and other officials, has been set up to investigate the incident.
Sheremetyevo's press service said the Yak-40 belongs to the carrier Jet Air, but was chartered by another airline, Premier-avia.
