MOSCOW, January 23 (RIA Novosti) - Tatneft [RTS: TATN] said Tuesday its estimated 2006 revenue could total 173 billion rubles ($6.52 billion), up 3% on 2005.
The oil company, which is controlled by the government of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Volga region, said its balance sheet profit in 2006 is estimated at 50 billion rubles ($1.89 billion).
Tatneft accounts for over 80% of crude output in Tatarstan, and produced 25.334 million metric tons (509,000 bbl/d) in 2006, the same as in 2005.
