MOSCOW, January 29 (RIA Novosti) - A passenger airliner made an emergency landing at Moscow's Domodedovo airport several minutes after one of its three engines caught fire during takeoff, an air traffic official said Monday.
The source said the crew of the Tu-154, operated by Orenburg airlines and bound for Orenburg in the Urals, turned the aircraft around and landed.
A spokeswoman for the airport said no injuries were reported among the 51 passengers and nine crewmembers.
"The Tu-154 left Domodedovo for Orenburg at 14:55 [11:55 GMT]," she said, adding that the crew landed 11 minutes later after an engine fire alarm went off.
