Russia's leading mobile operator said its US GAAP earnings in 2005 totaled $5.011 billion.
The OIBDA (operating income before depreciation and amortization) margin was an estimated 50%, and capital investment totaled $1.8 billion in 2006, the company said.
MTS forecasts its US GAAP earnings to grow 15-17% in 2007, while the OIBDA margin is expected at 50% and capital investment at $1.8 billion in 2007, the company said.
MTS, Russia's largest mobile phone operator, whose shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange and on off-exchange markets in Europe, has over 72.86 million customers in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
AFK Sistema, one of Russia's largest diversified corporations, owns a 52.8% share of the company.
