MOSCOW, March 7 (RIA Novosti) - The asset value of Russia's top 30 banks increased 0.6% in January 2007 to 9,574.4 billion rubles (about $364.7 billion) as of February 1, the Central Bank said on its Web site Wednesday.
At the same time, the profits of Russia's 30 largest banks fell 8.3%, year on year, in January 2007 to 30.65 billion rubles (about $1.17 billion), the CBR said.
