MOSCOW, March 24 (RIA Novosti) - Up to 100 amateur speleologists may have been trapped in an abandoned quarry in the Moscow Region following a cave-in, police said Saturday.
"The report of a collapse at a quarry near the village of Starostyanovo [near the town of Domodedovo, about 30 km to the south of Moscow] came at about 3 p.m. Moscow time [midday GMT]," a police source said.
He said the cave-in has blocked the only exit from the quarry.
