YEREVAN, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - Armenia's Prime Minister and Chairman of the Republican Party Andranik Markaryan died Sunday morning presumably of heart attack, the party's press office said.
Markaryan, aged 56, was Armenia's prime minister from May 2000.
In 1997, he was elected chairman of the Republican Party, which came to head the ruling coalition in Armenia in 2003.
