MOSCOW, April 3 (RIA Novosti) - Volvo Car Russia (Volvo's subsidiary in Russia) said Tuesday it sold 3,320 cars in January-March 2007, up 140% year-on-year.
The company said there is a growing interest in Volvo cars in Russia.
It said the most popular model was the Volvo XC90 (866 cars), followed by the S60 (638), and the S80 (487).
Volvo Car Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, sold 427,747 cars in 2006 worldwide.
