MOSCOW, April 18 (RIA Novosti) - Inflation in Russia grew 3.7% since the start of the year, the first deputy chairman of the Bank of Russia said Wednesday.
Alexey Ulyukayev said inflation might reach 4% in four months of 2007, compared to 5.4% during the same period in 2006.
Russia's economics ministry earlier projected annual inflation at 6.5-8% in 2007.
In 2006, inflation was 9% and is expected to gradually fall over the next few years.
