UFA/YEKATERINBURG, April 22 (RIA Novosti) - Several persons have been injured after a bus with 38 passengers overturned on a wet road in the Republic of Bashkiria in the southwest Urals, a spokesman for the republican interior ministry said.
The incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Moscow time (1:30 p.m. GMT) April 22. The bus ran at a high speed in rainy weather on a slippery road, the spokesman said.
According to the ministry, one passenger suffered in the incident. However, eyewitnesses said three persons with injuries of various degree of gravity were hospitalized.
An investigative team is working at the scene of the incident, the spokesman said.
