BRUSSELS, April 26 (RIA Novosti) - A repeat offender in Kieldrecht, Belgium has been accused of starving about a hundred animals and birds at his home, local media reported Thursday.
The culprit kept five dogs, seven cats, ten pigeons, seven ducks, and over 70 exotic birds, including an owl, in his house and yard. Neighbors reported to a local animal protection body that the creatures were suffering from exhaustion.
All the animals and birds will be transferred to animal and bird shelters, while their master will face a fine for cruelty to animals.
