MOSCOW, May 14 (RIA Novosti) - Rosinter Restaurants Holding, a leading restaurant operator in Russia and other former Soviet republics, announced plans Monday to hold an initial public offering (IPO).

Rosinter, which owns such popular brands as IL Patio (Italian cuisine), Planet Sushi (Japanese cuisine) and 1-2-3 Cafe (Russian cuisine), intends to use the IPO proceeds to expand and develop its business, strengthen its core brands and its franchising system, the company's press office said.

Rosinter, which was established in 1990, is set to offer its ordinary shares to investors in Russia and international institutional investors outside the United States, the company's press office said.

However, the company declined to specify the time and the volume of its IPO just yet.
