JABALIA (Gaza), May 21 (RIA Novosti) - At least four Palestinians died in an Israeli air strike in Jabalia, northern Gaza, after their car was hit, a source in the hospital where they were being treated said Monday.
On Sunday the Israeli government sanctioned expanded operations in Gaza, directed at armed radical groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, who have fired more than a hundred rockets into southern Israel over the past week.
Jabalia's refugee camp, located close to the Israeli border, houses over 100,000 displaced Palestinians, and is used as a cover and recruiting base for Hamas militants.
