The company s recoverable reserves rose 26.1 million tons in 2005.
GazpromNeft discovered 15 new hydrocarbon deposits in 2006, including 10 oil, one oil-and-gas, one gas and three gas condensate fields.
An assessment of GazpromNeft reserves conducted by independent auditor Miller & Lents showed that the company's proven reserves rose 5.3% in 2006, year-on-year (621.4 million tons) according to SPE standards, and 11.4% (514.0 million tons) according to the SEC standard, it said in a press release.
