MOSCOW, June 1 (RIA Novosti) - Over 18,000 tickets have already been sold for Saturday's 2008-Euro Cup qualifying match in St. Petersburg between teams from Russia and Andorra.

Russia and Andorra hold third and last places, respectively, in their Group E, which they share with teams from Croatia, England, Israel, Estonia and Macedonia.

The Russian team's coach, Dutchman Guus Hiddink, 60, who signed a two-year contract worth 4 million euros last year with Russia, said the Andorran team has a very strong defense and it will not be an easy game for his team.

Hiddink also said in an interview with the Russian television channel Vesti that although the Andorran team is ranked last in Group E, it will be hard for Russia to defend against them as his team is not used to their playing style.

Russia's national team failed to qualify last year for the World Cup in Germany, and Russian fans are hopeful that Hiddink, who previously guided the South Korean and Australian teams to unprecedented successes, will take the team to the Euro-2008 finals.

The Russia-Andorra match will be held Saturday, June 2, at the Petrovsky Sports Arena, which accommodates 22,000 people, in St. Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. local time (3:00 p.m. GMT).
