KHANTY-MANSIISK, June 4 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian city of Khanty-Mansiisk in western Siberia will host an international information technologies forum this week. It will open on Tuesday, June 5 and will be attended by over 80 IT companies and 300 professionals from Russia and all over the world, RIA Novosti was told by the information resources committee of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.
"The International IT Forum will open in Khanty-Mansiisk on Tuesday and will include the sixth conference Information Technologies and Solutions for an "Electronic Russia" and the 7th exhibition Information Technologies of the 21st Century. The four-day forum will include a plenary meeting, as well as sessions in smaller groups, with each section devoted to one of the 12 key areas of IT development," the source said.
Professionals from Spain, the United States, Norway, Ireland, Germany, and Kazakhstan will participate in the forum, both in person and over the Internet.
