MOSCOW, July 3 (RIA Novosti) - The launch of the Progress M-61 space cargo ship has been postponed from July 23 to August 2, the press secretary of the Russian Federal Space Agency said Tuesday.
"As you know, there were problems with computers on the International Space Station (ISS). Foreign-made components should be supplied to us to fix the computers in order to ensure the station's stable work, and our partners have not yet supplied them," Igor Panarin told journalists.
The ISS ran into difficulties when the steering system on the Russian segment was disabled June 14 by the failure of six computers, which experts said could have been caused by changes in the ISS configuration after new solar arrays were connected.
