BAKU, July 6 (RIA Novosti) - The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan said Friday it had produced 4.4 million metric tons (32.34 million bbl) in January-June this year, a 1.4% decline year-on-year.
The company said the South Caucasus state had produced 4.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the period, a 39.1% increase year-on-year.
In 2006, the company produced 9 million metric tons (66.15 million bbl) of oil, and natural gas output in the country last year was 6.8 billion cubic meters.
