"I hope that my team will be able to start negotiations with one of the champions. But you must understand it's quite difficult. I hope it happens. Right now I don't know when or with whom I will carry out my next fight," Klitschko said in an interview posted on the official Web site of Klitschko brothers.
Currently all heavyweight champion titles belong to boxers from the former Soviet Union - Russians Oleg Maskayev and Sultan Ibragimov are WBC and WBO Champions respectively, Uzbekistan's Ruslan Chagayev is the WBA Champion, and Klitschko holds the IBF Champion title.
The bout against Brewster was a voluntary title defense fight for Klitschko and was rather considered a payback from Wladimir, who lost to Brewster three years ago.
"From our side it was a voluntary defense, but we received a sanction from the IBF for this to be a mandatory defense since Brewster was the highest available contender in the IBF rankings," he said adding that "I have full freedom to choose my opponent in the next fight."
The Ukrainian, who resides and practices in Germany, said he was just simply happy with the fight against Brewster, "My main goal in this fight was to simply win. There was no room for a loss. I put a lot on the line in this fight. I am happy with my victory."
