GROZNY, July 11 (RIA Novosti) - In the last two days, Chechnya's policemen discovered two large caches containing weapons and explosives, and detained three local residents suspected of having links to militant groups, law enforcement agencies said Wednesday.
A police source said police found one cache, containing grenade launchers, grenades, ammunition, and an explosive device, in the republic's northern Naursky District. He said the other cache was found in the capital city of Grozny.
The source also said the suspects arrested by police were from different districts, adding that a Kalashnikov assault rifle was found on one of the detainees.
