MOSCOW, July 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's federal budget posted an estimated 1.07 trillion rubles ($42 billion) of surplus in January-June 2007, the Finance Ministry's press office said Wednesday.
Russia's budget surplus stood at 1.06 trillion rubles ($41.3 billion) in the same period last year, the press office said.
Budget revenues amounted to 3.25 trillion rubles (about $127 billion) and expenditures stood at 2.53 trillion rubles (about $98.9 billion) in January-June 2007, the press office said.
Revenues paid to the Stabilization Fund of Russia totaled 828.71 billion rubles (about $32 billion) in the period under review. Russia's Stabilization Fund amounted to 3.14 trillion rubles (about $123 billion) as of July 1, 2007, the press office said.
