MOSCOW, July 14 (RIA Novosti) - A Daghestani legislator and his guest were killed in a fire attack on the deputy's house, a local police spokesman said on the telephone Saturday.
"Two unknown people opened gun fire at the house of a local legislator, killing the host and his acquaintance, in the village of Gubden [in eastern Daghestan] at about 2 a.m. Moscow time," the source said.
A total of 36 cartridges were found at the scene of the crime. An investigation is underway.
