The Gaza Strip has been hurt by a severe economic blockade after Hamas closed all border passes linking the Palestinian territory to the outside world.
The trucks, which delivered 210 metric tons of flour to the Palestinian Gaza, were the second convoy of UN humanitarian aid to the territory in recent days. The first convoy delivered 300 metric tons of flour, the spokesman said.
Overall, the UN World Food Program intends to deliver 2,544 metric tons of flour, and also sugar and other food staples to Gaza.
