MOSCOW, July 17 (RIA Novosti) - The death toll following a road accident in Siberia's far north on Tuesday rose to eight, after three of the 15 injured people died in intensive care, a local emergencies spokesman said.
Five were killed immediately and 15 seriously injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a minivan carrying 20 passengers in Norilsk, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
An investigation is underway, and the circumstances surrounding the accident are being established. Twelve people remain in hospital.
