KHABAROVSK, July 19 (RIA Novosti) - At least six people were killed and one woman rescued from debris when the roof of a factory in Russia's Far East collapsed, the local emergencies service said Thursday.
"The roof of the former factory Dalselmash in Birobidzhan, which now houses a commercial enterprise, collapsed at 1:10 p.m. local time (2:10 a.m. GMT)," the service spokesman said, adding that concrete and metal structures had fallen on a trailer with seven people inside.
The rescue effort has now ended.
