DAMASCUS, July 23 (RIA Novosti) - The leader of the radical Lebanon-based Shiite movement Hezbollah has said it can strike anywhere in Israel at any time.
"Our missiles can reach any nook and corner in occupied Palestine," Sheik Hassan Nasrallah said in an interview with the Al Jazeera Qatar satellite channel.
He said Hezbollah can resist Israel militarily "even now."
Nasrallah's interview was timed to coincide with the first anniversary of the 34-day war that Hezbollah and Israel fought last summer in the south of Lebanon.
Israeli media report that a year after the July war, Hezbollah's missile capability is still substantial, numbering thousands of missiles that can reach as far as Tel Aviv and even further.
