MOSCOW, July 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Dmitry Tursunov has won the Indianapolis Tennis Championships in the USA with $525,000 in prize money up for grabs after defeating Frank Dancevic from Canada 6-4, 7-5 in the final.
The match, which lasted one hour and 17 minutes, brought Tursunov his second ATP singles champion title. His first career ATP singles title was achieved on the hardcourts at Mumbai, India, in 2006.
The victory in the Indianapolis tournament improved Tursunov's position in the ATP rating list as he moved from 27th place up to 23rd.
