MOSCOW, August 5 (RIA Novosti) - The Progress M-61 cargo space ship launched from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan on August 2 will dock with the International Space Station (ISS) Sunday night, Russia's mission control said.
The space ship carrying equipment to fix the sole orbiter's computers and other supplies is expected to dock with the ISS at 10:40 p.m. Moscow time (6:40 p.m. GMT) August 5, the mission control said.
The ISS ran into difficulties when the steering system on the Russian segment was disabled June 14 by the failure of six computers, which experts said could have been caused by changes in the ISS configuration after new solar arrays were connected.
