MOSCOW, August 22 (RIA Novosti) - Russian aircraft did not violate Georgian airspace August 21 as Georgia's Foreign Ministry said, an aide to the Russian Air Force commander said Wednesday.
"Aircraft of the Russian Air Force made no flights along Georgia's borders August 21, that country's airspace was not violated by Russian planes," Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky said.
Georgia's Foreign Ministry Wednesday delivered a note of protest to the Russian Foreign Ministry claiming Georgian airspace was violated from Russia Tuesday.
Georgia also accuses the Russian Air Force of violating its airspace and dropping a missile on a village August 6, which Russia has also denied.
