GAZA, August 29 (RIA Novosti) - Two Palestinian children were killed and one critically injured when a group of children in Gaza came under fire from Israeli tanks, local hospital officials said Wednesday.
A similar incident took place last week, when Israeli Army officers killed two Palestinian children and injured a third.
The Israeli army said it had been conducting a ground operation and had fired at rocket launchers near Beit Hanoun.
The area is often used by Palestinian militants to launch rocket attacks against southern Israel.
