LONDON, September 3 (RIA Novosti) - At least five people were injured in a passenger bus accident in Buckinghamshire, southeast England, Thames Valley police said Monday.
The bus was en route from Birmingham to London Stansted Airport when it overturned at 4:00 p.m.
The passenger numbers are being verified, but the coach owner, National Express, said there were 32 passengers onboard, while an ambulance spokeswoman spoke of at least 40.
Four ambulances arrived at the scene as witnesses said in TV interviews that blood was all over the place. A policeman said rescuers were working hard to free the driver trapped in the bus.
In January another National Express bus traveling from Heathrow Airport to Glasgow overturned leaving three people dead.
