NAZRAN, September 7 (RIA Novosti) - Unidentified gunmen wounded a policeman in the center of Karabulak, in the North Caucasus Republic of Ingushetia, a law enforcement source said Friday.
"The accident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. Moscow time (3:15 p.m. GMT) in the center of Karabulak. Unknown assailants shot a man wearing a police uniform using automatic weapons," the source said.
He added eyewitnesses reported that when the gunmen fled the scene, a car took away the body.
On Friday, the chief medical officer of the Nazran blood bank was killed.
A teacher and her family were shot dead in Karabulak August 31.
Another teacher and her two children were killed in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village July 16. A tripwire bomb explosion injured 11 people during the funeral two days later.
