PARIS, September 11 (RIA Novosti) - French President Nicolas Sarkozy will arrive in Russia for an official visit October 11-12, Russian deputy prime minister, Sergei Naryshkin, said Tuesday.
Earlier a spokesman for the Elysee Palace, the president's official residence, said it was too early to confirm the information.
Sarkozy, 52, was elected French president on May 6, 2007, after defeating Socialist Party leader, Segolene Royal, in the presidential runoff.
