MOSCOW, September 19 (RIA Novosti) - Iraqi authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of five Russian diplomats in June last year, Foreign Minister Hishiar al-Zibari said.
The minister, on an official visit to Moscow, told journalists on Wednesday: "We have arrested one suspect. All efforts are now being taken to speed up the investigation."
One embassy employee was shot June 3, 2006, in an attack on a car. Four others were abducted and executed later by a group believed to be linked to al-Qaeda.
