BISHKEK, October 18 (RIA Novosti) - A 16-year-old girl was killed at a high school after her classmate hit her head on a desk during an English lesson in Kyrgyzstan's second largest city, Osh, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
The incident occurred when the girls started quarreling over a bag lying on a desk. The girl lost consciousness immediately. An ambulance arrived 15 minutes later, but the girl was already dead.
Her assailant, also 16, was later arrested by police.
