MOSCOW, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - The bodies of six construction workers, three Moldovans and three Russians, were discovered at a building site in the Moscow Region, a spokesman for the prosecutors' office said on Monday.
"The bodies were discovered at 9 a.m. Moscow time (5 a.m. GMT) in a closed metallic container by a co-worker. The police were immediately informed of the awful discovery," the spokesman said, adding there were no signs of violence.
A preliminary investigation said the workers had died of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
The bodies have been sent for an expert examination to determine the cause of the death.
