YEKATERINBURG, October 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russian police in Yekaterinburg, in the Urals, have seized a total of 6.5 kilos of heroin from two Kyrgyz and five Uzbek nationals at the city railway station, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
"The heroin, in batches from 300 to 900 grams, was found in the bottom of the suspects' boots," the spokesman said.
The spokesman said police had also detained two suspected would-be buyers of the drug, a Russian and a Tajik.
