In August, Ilyushin signed a contract to supply the airline with five Tu-204-100 airliners at the MAKS-2007 air show near Moscow.
A source close to negotiations earlier said that Ilyushin and Iran Airtour would sign a preliminary contract at the Dubai Air Show on the supply of 30 additional Tu-204-100 aircraft. The first batch of Tu-204 medium-haul planes designed to carry 210 passengers is expected to be delivered in 2009.
Ilyushin Finance deals with the financial and operational leasing of Russian-made civil aircraft, as well as providing consulting services. It has a 38% stake in Russia's 90% state-owned United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), formed last year from leading domestic plane producers to streamline the country's aircraft building industry.
UAC incorporates commercial and military aircraft makers including Ilyushin, Tupolev, Sukhoi, Antonov and Mikoyan, as well as companies involved in distribution, including Aviaexport.
