VLADIKAVKAZ, November 22 (RIA Novosti) - At least four people were killed and ten injured in a bus explosion in North Ossetia on Thursday believed to be caused by a roadside bomb, a local police source said.
"A child is among those killed. Ten people have been hospitalized and one woman is in a very severe condition," he said.
A spokesman for the North Ossetian investigation committee said the blast on the Ikarus bus en route from North Ossetia to the neighboring North Caucasus Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria occurred at 6.00 p.m. Moscow time (3:00 p.m. GMT).
He said there is still no official data on the number of fatalities, and that a group of investigators is set to arrive at the site.
