The union launched an indefinite strike on November 20, stopping the Ford Focus production line at midnight until its demands for higher wages from March 2008 were met.
About 1,000 of the plant's 2,200 workers initially joined the strike, but the figure later dropped to 300-400, the trade union said.
"We are not going to comment on the management's intentions. Let them try to restart the assembly line, and we'll see. We are going to continue the strike," said Alexei Etmanov, the trade union chief.
A Ford PR manager said on Tuesday that the plant would resume production on November 28, with workers working on single shift.
"The plant's administration has informed workers who refused to participate in the strike of the necessity to start working on a single shift to resume production from November 28," Yekaterina Kulinenko said.
The plant, which usually operates in three shifts, will be therefore unable to resume Ford Focus production in full.
In early fall, the Ford workers demanded a substantial pay rise from the company managers. After the talks failed, the union held a strike on November 7, which was subsequently halted by a court ruling.
