ST. PETERSBURG, November 30 (RIA Novosti) -- Russia's leading shipping agent, Sovkomflot, plans to prepare for an IPO in 2008, the company's CEO said on Friday.
"We would like the company to be ready for that by 2008," Sergei Frank said, without specifying the time frame or volume of a future IPO.
Sovkomflot, 100% owned by the state, owns a fleet of 56 vessels with a total deadweight of over 4.3 million metric tons.
The company specializes in the transportation of energy products by sea.
