MOSCOW, December 3 (RIA Novosti) - The leader of the liberal Yabloko party, which failed to garner sufficient votes on Sunday to enter parliament, said the election was plagued by numerous violations.
Grigory Yavlinsky's party received only 1.4% of votes, well below the 7% threshold to gain a seat in the State Duma. Vladimir Putin's United Russia party received 63.3%.
"During the voting today every legal statute on voting, without exception, was violated," Yavlinsky told a news conference.
