ISLAMABAD, December 23 (RIA Novosti) - At least eight people were killed and seventeen others wounded in a terrorist attack in northwestern Pakistan, local TV channels said on Sunday, referring to police sources.
The attack occurred in the town of Mingora in the Swat valley when a suicide bomber blew himself up while a military convoy was returning to its base.
According to TV reporters, one soldier was killed and another thirteen wounded while the other victims were civilians.
The attack came two days after a suicide bomber killed up to 60 people and injured around 40 in a mosque in an attack on Pakistan's former interior minister in another part of the country's northwest.
