KIEV, January 19 (RIA Novosti) - A Ukrainian ship carrying grain sank in the Azov Sea after being damaged by sea ice, the country's emergencies ministry said on Saturday.
The accident occurred during the night, 63 kilometers (40 miles) from the Kerch Strait, which links the Azov to the Black Sea. All crew were evacuated into the towboat.
The cargo vessel was carrying 13 crew members and more than three metric tons of grain.
