MOSCOW, February 2 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has suspended the flights of all Tajik airlines to Russia, the Federal Air Transport Agency said on Saturday.
A Rosaviatsia spokesman said the ban had been imposed "due to repeated violations of Russian air carriers' rights by Tajik authorities."
He said the ban would be in force until Tajikistan lifted all restrictions.
The official said, in particular, Tajik authorities charged Russian airlines "for making flights."
He gave no explanation as to whether that referred to the use of airspace or landing fees, but said there were no such provisions in a bilateral air transport agreement between the Russia and Tajikistan.
