GROZNY, February 9 (RIA Novosti) - A traffic policeman in the capital of the Russian troubled North Caucasus republic of Chechnya was hospitalized after accidentally wounding himself, a police source said Saturday.
"The policeman wounded himself in the stomach with two shots after carelessly handling a Kalashnikov assault rifle," the source said.
An investigation is underway.
