TEL AVIV/ MOSCOW, February 27 (RIA Novosti) - At least one person was killed and several injured in a rocket attack on southern Israel, medics said on Wednesday.
Islamic militants operating in Hamas-controlled Gaza launched around 20 rockets in less than an hour on Israel, with four of them falling on the town of Sderot.
Palestinian militants stepped up bombardments following a series of air strikes by the Israeli Air Force on Wednesday, which killed at least seven militants.
