YEKATERINBURG, March 7 (RIA Novosti) - Transport police and FSB operatives in the southern Urals seized 28 kilograms (over 55 pounds) of heroin from a Tajik national on Friday, a police spokesman said.
The suspect was arrested in the city of Yekaterinburg in the Sverdlovsk region after arriving from Tajikistan by train. He had an accomplice.
A criminal case has been opened. The man could face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
