MOSCOW, March 31 (RIA Novosti) - Russian oil company Surgutneftegaz said on Monday its net profit calculated to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) increased 14.94% year-on-year in 2007 to 88.63 billion rubles ($3.7 billion).
Surgutneftegaz, which accounts for 13% of Russia's total crude production, posted a net profit of 77.1 billion rubles ($3.2 billion) in 2006.
The oil company is based in the Tyumen Region in West Siberia, and has authorized capital of 43 billion rubles ($1.7 billion).
